The record breaking 11th season of Real Housewives of Orange County premiers this Monday on Bravo. They decided to throw a big party last night to celebrate. The party wasn’t just full of this seasons cast of Housewives, all the housewives, past and present were invited. I was pretty impressed with the tun out.
My mom came with Doug and I, and we met my brother and his wife at the party. It was fun to do the red carpet and be back in the mix just for a night. I have kept in contact with a few of the girls, and it is like a family or a sorority in some ways, where you all have this crazy show in common and so you have a bond. Most of the girls are super nice. Of course there are the few that have a little attitude; but I chalk that up to insecurity.
The whole night was so much fun and really did feel like a celebration. I am proud to be a part of this show and am grateful for the platform it has given me. I have learned so much through my experience. I have gotten to write a book sharing my faith, I get to do speaking engagements, and I have this blog. You never know where something will lead you, but if you are always true to yourself, God can do more than we can ever imagine. xoxo Lydia
