I have been reading some great books lately about comparison. It is so easy today to go on social media or look around and wonder “why don’t I have…” or “I wish I had…”I think it is a dangerous road when we walk the road to compare. Nothing good can come from that. Doug and I have a saying- “Stay in your lane”. It reminds us that everyone has a path. There is enough success to go around. Just because someone has love or money or success or a happy family life, in whatever way- doesn’t mean that theirs somehow limits you and yours. There is enough to go around. We have to stay in our own lane and trust that our journey is great.
When we really understand that- I have found there is so much freedom. You are happy when you see your friend or anyone for that matter, succeeding. You are full of delight when you see people living their dreams…. for they have nothing to do with yours.
