Doug and I met with their in-house pastaia, Julia, who taught us how to make traditional Italian egg-based pasta dough, as well as lobster tortelli and handmade spaghetti alla chitarra, right in the Andrea pasta kitchen! It was such a treat to get to go behind the scenes of one of my favorite OC restaurants, and cook! We had champagne and listed to Italian music has we rolled out the dough and learned the art of pasta.
You can enjoy one hour of hands-on instruction followed by a delicious two-course lunch—made by you! The best part is you make the pasta, and then don’t have to do any of the clean up! You are escorted to the beautiful ocean view balcony that feels like you are an Italian palace, while they cook the best meal of your life!
