I am doing the Beth Moore Bible study on 1 and 2 Thessalonians right now called Children of the Day. I am loving it, and really feeling God speaking to me in the season of life that I am in right now. It is a very Christian sort of question to ask someone, “How is your walk with the Lord right now?” but through scripture brought to light for me from this book, I am learning that that question is actually very biblical and profound.
The Bible starts with Genesis and ends with the book of Revelation. In Genesis 3:8, we read that, “Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day.” The Lord was there, walking with them from the start. Then we fast forward to the end of the Bible and Revelation’s tells us that Jesus is walking with the churches.
From the beginning to the end, and every story in between, He is walking with us. Our God is never changing and He is walking with you friends! Right now. Our faith is a journey, and God is with us every step of the way, even if it doesn’t feel like it. Our faith is not based on our situations, feelings or emotions. Our God reigns. (Psalm 47:8) He is a good God.(Psalm 136:1) He loves you (John 3:16) and is walking with you on your journey of life!
