We took the boys to Lake Tahoe for a week and it was so much fun! They caught a snake, played in the water, and were in awe of God’s great beauty. I would encourage everyone to visit this fun place. There is so much to do, and it is so fun for the kids to get out in nature and just explore and be little.
Doug and I golfed one day on one of the most beautiful golf courses. It was surrounded by big forest trees and the air felt so clean and crisp. We even saw deer and a coyote. We stayed in the golfing community and there was a clubhouse, park and hiking trails. Our home was beautiful and we felt like we were having the time of our lives.
One day we left the kids and visited the Spa at Atlantis Casino. It was amazing! They had THREE co-ed relaxation rooms. The one I found myself settled into after my treatment had starry lights in the ceiling and a wall full of salt that is suppose to have healing properties. I was so relaxed I forgot where I was!
The Lake itself is a sight you have to see to understand its beauty. The phase “Keep Tahoe Blue” is one you immediatly understand once you see its blue hues. We did it all on the lake. Jet Skiing, Paddle boarding, tubing on a boat for the day, parasailing, wake boarding, and relaxing. There definitely is something for everyone in Lake Tahoe and we will be back.
We met the greatest people on all our adventures to Lake Tahoe. Here is a list of the vendors we used:
