I am not really a car girl, but I am married to a car man. Doug will *hear a car and know what it is. So, when Rolls Royce contacted us to go on their bespoke tour of pebble beach to Napa valley, we were in.
We have three young boys, and so it is hard to schedule dat nights, yet alone a few nights away from the babes. But, I knew it was a trip of a lifetime and would be so fun to explore the coast of California with the life of my life. We got to drive into winery, coffee joints, and flower shops. We were road tripping it, and yes, we were in half a million dollar cars, it was still just the two of us, and that really is all I need.
We had a wonderful trip, and as fun and beautiful our coastline is, and the cars are, my favorite part was being the passenger, riding shot gun to my man. I think in life we can get so caught up in work and kids and the busyness of life, but at the end of the day, I share my life and my soul with Doug, He is a part of me, and I am a part of him. Tat doesn’t just happen one day and you no longer have to work at it. We are investing in each other and our love story. I am so grateful that for this weekend our love story involved just the two of us, some beautiful fancy cars, and the California coast.

I love reading and seeing all of your pics! Lydia you are such a beautiful person and I love to see how you are always making time for your relationship with your husband. I think it’s very important to have date nights. I’m not married nor do I have kids. However, I’ve learned from you that if I ever do get married and have kids I am going to make it a priority to have date night at least once a week! Keep on posting and yes,I would love one of those beautiful cars please!
